431 - Conversation - Applying to an English Course

The conversation is between 3 people  having a brief conversation about a friend wanting to apply to the English Course.

Gui : Good evening, teacher, how are you doing ?

Teacher Good evening, Gui. I am doing well. And you?

Gui :  I’m great, thank you. This is my father Luciano. He  wants to apply to come to this English Course. He would like to ask you a few questions. Would you mind taking the time and telling him what process He would have to do, please?

Teacher Hello, Luciano ! It’s nice to meet you. I am very busy today, as I am going to start the class now . Can you come on next monday for us to talk before the class ?

Luciano Yes, that will be no problem. Thank you for making time for me and speaking to me today.

Teacher Hopefully we will be seeing you  soon. See you monday.

Guilherme is talking to Luciano who He has just met in a cafe. They are having a conversation when Guilherme asks Luciano what He does for a living . . .

Guilherme: What do you do for a living?

Luciano: I Am sorry I didn’t understand the question.

Guilherme:  What is your occupation?

Luciano: I'm an application engineer ; I work in a HVAC Company .

Guilherme : An engineer ? You must do a lot of work and earn a lot of money.

Luciano  : Yes I do lots of work but I don't get a lot of money. Every day I  develop solution  for technical problems . 

Guilherme : That is really interesting. How many clients do you please  in a day?

Luciano  : On average I probably please about seven clients  every day I do get tired.

 What about you Guilherme ? What sort of job do you have ?

Guilherme : I don’t have a job at the moment.

Luciano : why?

Guilherme  : I’m just learning English.

Luciano : Thanks for the chat I have to get back to work now.

Guilherme: Yes, thanks for practicing with me..
